Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DOTA-K(sCy5)-pADA-fQWAVGH-NHCH[CH2CH(CH3)2]2 (also known as compound 14 or probe 14) is a bimodal (nuclear/optical) imaging probe developed by Erasmus MC for the pre- and intraoperative visualization of gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR)-expressing solid tumors, such as prostate cancer. The probe is based on the backbone of the established GRPR antagonist NeoB (formerly NeoBOMB1). It incorporates a DOTA chelator for radiolabeling (e.g., with indium-111) to enable preoperative SPECT/CT imaging, and a sulfo-cyanine 5 (sCy5) fluorescent dye for intraoperative surgical guidance. The probe features a rigid pADA linker in its backbone, which contributes to favorable tumor retention and targeting properties.
